2013 8th Grade Promotion Information

Congratulations to the 8th grade class on their promotion to high school. The promotion ceremony will be held on Wednesday, June 12th at Touro University (map). See below for the schedule and further details.

9:00-10:00 am Promotion Breakfast at MIT. This is a special catered breakfast for the students and their Advisory Teachers courtesy of PTN.
10:00-11:00 am Promotion Practice in Omega.  8th Grade Class T-shirts will be handed out.
2:00-3:00 pm Final promotion practice at Lander Hall at Touro University. All students should be in final dress and make up. Teacher advisors will be in attendance as well.
4:00-5:30 pm Promotion Ceremony at Lander Hall.
 
General Information and Reminders:
 
Students will come home from school Tuesday, June 11, with their 4 tickets for preferred seating. These tickets are good for preferential seating between 3:00 – 3:45 on Wednesday the 12th; at 3:45 the doors will be opened for general admission.
Please make every effort to have your student attend the breakfast and practices on time.
Lander Hall is located at 1310 Club Drive on Mare Island. Parking is strictly enforced surrounding Lander Hall so please respect the signs and allow plenty of time to park and be at ceremony on time. We have a record number of promoting students so expect parking to fill up early. 
Students are expected to be dressed up as they were for Portfolio Day.
